Calling all hospitality businesses - the highly anticipated Darwin International Laksa Festival is back for its sixth year, and registrations are now open to participate in the month-long festival food tour!
This is your chance to showcase your culinary creativity and be part of a beloved event that celebrates the diverse and flavourful world of laksa. Whether you serve a classic laksa or a laksa-inspired dish, we want you to participate in the festival from 1-31 October 2024.
The laksa festival has been running for six years, and each year it grows in popularity! Recently, the festival has created the Laksa League - the new way that festival participants can engage with venues and the festival.
The Laksa League is an online game where laksa lovers can view the registered venues and dishes as part of the festival, and complete a series of tasks to earn points and win prizes! Last year more than 1,800 players signed up to the league, a HUGE success for the festivals first year! The league encourages players by creating challenges where they can earn extra points by checking into and visiting venues throughout the festival - just another way to get people moving to your venue!
