On Sunday 27 November, Darwin once again became Australia’s laksa-capital as thousands flocked to Laksa Lawns to celebrate the Territory’s favourite dish. The Laksa Festival brought entertainment, flavour-filled master classes and crowned the winners of the Golden Bowl trophy and People’s Choice awards.
With over 90 dishes across 70 businesses, this year’s competition was one of our closest. The regions also got a taste of the laksa action with 10 participating venues from Alice Springs, Katherine and Nhulunbuy.
Our 2022 Darwin International Laksa Festival winners are:
