The Laksa League is the new way to participate in the Darwin International Laksa Festival. The Laksa League enables players to earn points, climb the leader board and become Laksa Legends through tasting local laksa and laksa-inspired delicacies.
Players can create accounts and earn points by tasting, reviewing and voting for dishes, checking into venues and inviting friends to join in on the culinary fun.
The Laksa League will also feature ‘Bonus Bowls’ which will be dropped at various venues throughout the month. Bonus Bowls will be displayed on the Laksa League map, and they will provide players with bonus points when collected by scanning a venue’s QR code.
The players with the most points by 11:59pm Friday 27 October will win:
- First place: Return Airfares to Cairns and 3 nights’ Accommodation with Breakfast for you and a friend, sponsored by Airnorth and Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort.
- Second place: Darwin Harbour Sunset Dinner Cruise for you and three friends, sponsored by Darwin Harbour Sunset Cruise.
- Third place: $500 Casuarina Square Voucher, sponsored by Casuarina Square.
- Fourth place: Casino Royale Jet Ski Adventure for you and a friend, sponsored by 00Seven Adventures.
