Laksa Festival Grand Finale

Location: Darwin Waterfront (Kitchener Dr, Darwin City NT 0800).
For the first time, the Laksa Festival Grand Finale will be held on a Saturday at the Darwin Waterfront!
The Grand Finale is always held after the festival Food Tour ends, and is a celebration of all things laksa, our multi-cultural community and this year's participating venues and dishes.
Thousands of Territorians and visitors flock to the Finale to enjoy the many delicious laksa or laksa-inspired by dishes on-offer from amazing local venues. Attendees can expect food eating competitions, cooking demonstrations, roving entertainment, live music and the presentation of this year's laksa festival awards:
- Laksa League Champion
- People's Choice: Best Laksa
- People's Choice: Best Laksa Inspired-By
- People's Choice: Regional Best Laksa
- People's Choice: Regional Best Laksa Inspired-By
- Regional Best Laksa
- The Golden Bowl
The Golden Bowl and Regional Best Laksa Awards are selected through a rigorous judging process. While the People's Choice Awards are selected by voting through the Laksa League.
The top Laksa League players are also announced at the Festival Finale day, and the winner is awarded their major prize and ultimate bragging rights amongst their peers!
