Laksa Fest Grand Finale
The Darwin International Laksa Festival comes to its culinary closure at the Laksa Fest Grand Finale!
The Finale is held after the festival food tour ends, and is a celebration of all things laksa, our multi-cultural community and this year's participating venues and dishes.
This year's finale will be held at the Laksa Lawns (opposite Parliament House) from 3pm on Sunday 3 November, you can register for the event here.
Thousands of Territorians and visitors flock to the Laksa Lawns from lunch-time to enjoy the many delicious laksa or laksa-inspired by dishes on-offer from amazing local venues.
Attendees can expect food eating competitions, cooking demonstrations, roving entertainment, live music and the presentation of this year's laksa festival awards:
- Laksa League Champion
- People's Choice: Best Laksa
- People's Choice: Best Laksa Inspired-By
- People's Choice: Regional Best Laksa
- People's Choice: Regional Best Laksa Inspired-By
- Regional Best Laksa
- The Golden Bowl
The Golden Bowl and Regional Best Laksa Awards are selected through a rigorous judging process. While the People's Choice Awards are selected by voting through the Laksa League.
The top 10 Laksa League players are also announced at the Festival Finale day, and the winner is awarded their major prize and ultimate bragging rights amongst their peers!

- Angkor Takeaway - serving up laksa inspired-by skewers.
- Sweet Chilli Fruit Juice & Smoothies - serving up laksa and lots of yummy inspired-by options.
- Zzan Korean - serving up laksa inspired-by chicken wings and bao buns
- Yogi's Way - serving up laksa inspired-by momos.
- Holey Smokes BBQ - serving up laksa inspired-by lollipops.
- Bar Kokomo - serving up laksa inspired-by burgers, chicken wings and enpanadas.
- Hugs Pa Nim - serving up laksa inspired-by bao buns and dumplings.
- Curled Ice Cream - serving up laksa inspired-by ice cream.
- Darwin Trailer Boat Club - serving up laksa inspired-by baklava.
- One Mile Brewery - serving all your favourite locally brewed beers and laksa inspired-by seltzer!
