Terms and Conditions – YKNOT Competition

By entering the ‘Darwin International Laksa Festival YKNOT Competition’, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Entry is open to anyone aged 18 years and over who submit their entry form prior to 6.45pm on Sunday, 28 November 2021 at the Darwin International Laksa Festival.
  2. To enter, you must scan the QR code on the YKNOT Kiosk during the Laksa Festival and fill out the online form  and like YKNOTS Fishing Charters Facebook Page.
  3. The winner will be drawn by a random computer selection at 6.45pm on Sunday, 28 November 2021 – a certificate of validity can be produced to guarantee that the winner was selected in a fair and transparent way.
  4. The winner will be notified through the PA system during the festival and if the winner is not present by telephone on the same day.
  5. Total prize value. The first prize is a YKNOT full day fishing charter (eight adults) valued at $3,200 and the second prize is a nights accommodation at YKNOT Getaway Dundee Beach (20 guests) valued at $1,200
  6. This prize is valid for bookings between January 2022 – July 2022 (Monday to Friday) and cannot be extended.
  7. Voucher is subject to YKNOTS schedule changes and cancellation, in the event of cancellations voucher cannot be redeemed for cash.
  8. This prize is not transferable, non-exchangeable and non-redeemable for cash.
  9. This prize can be used for new bookings only and not for a refund of an existing paid booking.
  10. The prize cannot be split into separate bookings.
  11. This prize not valid on public holidays.
  12. A 'no show' will constitute a voluntary forfeit of the prize.
  13. Employees of Activate Darwin, Agentur, relevant sponsors, and their direct family, are not eligible to win this competition.
  14. It is also the winner’s responsibility to check availability before booking.
  15. You agree to receive a one-off email survey about your experience during the Darwin International Laksa Festival.
