2019 JUDGE'S AWARD - BEST INSPIRED BY DISH
Nothing beats an ice-cream in the build-up.. Owned by Susan and Rob, Cold Rock Darwin has been around since 2014 and bring sweet, delicious ice-cream to Mitchell Street in the heart of Darwin. Susan with her bright and bubbly personality and creative skills was bold enough to trial, taste and bring to life the first ever Laksa ice-cream.
Who would have thought that Laksa ice cream would be a thing? However, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised. The creamy flavour with the subtle punch of laksa is a success. You can’t go past the added toppings that really take the dish to the next level. The savoury crunch of dried noodles and kick of chili flakes, makes it an unique and exciting laksa-inspired dish.
Susan & Rob's ingenious creation was loved by our judges and took home Best Inspired By Dish in 2019.
